A year away from the game of basketball did very little to slow Chris Henderson down. He didn't come back and dominate, but he showed flashes of excellence from the start. With a 6'8 teammate in Damian Eargle, opposing teams don't have the luxury to double Henderson, who is also 6'8, every time down the court, and he took advantage of his one-on-one opportunities, and he won't hesitate to dunk on the opposition when given the chance. Former Canton Glen Oak star Kosta Koufos, a 7'0 who will play college basketball at Ohio STate, found out just how aggressive Henderson be. His 16 points and 11 rebounds were impressive on paper, but even more impressive was the fact that Henderson dunked on Koufos not once, but twice in the contest. While Glen Oak had the last laugh with 1 55-51 win, Henderson realizes his potential on the court stretches far beyond high school, so expect him to turn the volume up on his game in 07-08.
