By David Baugh With so many different offenses in football, every player doesn't fit into every system. With that being said, great offensive linemen are always welcomed with open arms. In the case of Connor Smith, he is exactly the type of player that Cincinnati Colerain needed in their trriple option attack. Checking in at a monstrous 6'6, 300 pounds, Smith was a dominant guard who punished opposing defensive tackles, giving them plenty of reasons to sleep well the following day. As a junior, he was a force on the offensive front as the Cardinals dominated everybody in their path on their way to the 2004 state title. Smith is now a freshman at The Ohio State University.
