From 2001-2003, Warren Harding's went 36-4, which included a state runner up in 2002. Many players contributed to that success, and the class of 2004 had a huge say in all three of those years. Jonte' Stroud was one of those players who made people hold their breath when he was on the field. He is one of the hardest hitters that has come through Warren Harding, but it was his versatility that made him special. His speed, toughness, and soft hands made an impact player at fullback, wide receiver, and outside linebacker. Regardless of where he was lined up, his game was consistent throughout his high school career. In 2006, he enrolled at Long Beach City College in California. Now 6'1, 220 pounds, Stroud hasn't missed a beat as he is a standout at outside linebacker. If he keeps it up, he'll find himself at a Division 1A school sooner than later.
