Shawn Crable
Massillon Washington
Michigan
");

By David Baugh
Standing 6'5, 230 pounds, Shawn Crable was a strong,
intimidating force for Massillon Washington.  The
unquestioned leader of a strong Tiger defense, Crable
often made imposing blockers look like they weren't
even there, running straight through them with ease.
With his length, he covered a lot of ground, and he
was always willing to give up his body to make plays.
Playing for such a great high school program, Crable
was no stranger to playing against elite competition.
Massillon is one of the biggest "stages" that a player
can play at, but Crable stepped onto an even bigger
stage when he participated in the 2003 U.S. Army All
American Game in San Antonio, Texas, where he made
some solid contributions as the East ran away from the
West 47-3.  Soon after, Crable gave the University of
Michigan a late Christmas present by giving them his
commitment, adding another key addition to the
Wolverines' impressive class for 2003.  He concluded
his high school career with another dominating
performance in the 2003 Big 33 Game in Hershey,
Pennsylvania as Ohio dominated Pennsylvania 38-7
